Wow, what a 20 hours of ....

:scry: For the last 20 hours or so, I have not had power, so I had to take control of running around with 4 battery air pumps for 20+ tanks to make sure they don't run out air. I stayed up all night in fear of the fish dying. Right now I am at my girlfriends house taking a breather, and power is suppose to be on at 8am tommorow.

I just got through a 24 hour power failure. The fish seem to have all survived but I'm now expecting an ammonia spike from the dead bacteria in the canister filter. The water also turned foggy so I suspect there's a good bacteria bloom too. Oy! This has turned into a mess real quick. Also, just heard on the news, that an F1 tornado struck a few blocks away. Maybe that explains why the power went out in the first place.

Couldn't you just float the sponges in the tanks (or sink) if this ever happened? My power glitched twice, nothing longer then 1 second lol. Could that be a possible measure to try and keep the levels lower though?

It'll getcha. I lost power a few days ago for like, 5 or 6 hours during the night. I had nothing to do so I just chilled in the dark and wrote some music. Got a song and a half done, that night, and recorded the finished one today.

Power outages can be productive, provided you aren't running around like a chicken with your head cut off trying to keep your fish alive, haha.

Yeah. Bad weather down here a bit too. Tornado set down about 2 miles from my house. Some sections of town had no power but luckily i did.

Hard to play Fallout 3 without power.
