had this sitting empty since i moved the africans to the 75.. figured it would work fine to grow out the HRP fry whats in here now are from two other spawns that had survived in the 100

Thats a great idea! At least now you are sure the fry will not just be a snack waiting to happen. lol

this little tank is about to have a population explosion. day before yesterday we found another batch in the right corner of the 100 g. this morning we found another in the center of the tank

It's about time you started growing out some fry, an empty tank is a terrible thing to waste... :hmm3grin2orange:
Don't try to save them all, just keep as many as you can grow out to about 1-1.25" (w/out overcrowding too much) to move along. I wouldn't expect to find new homes for more than 2-3 dozen unless your lfs is willing to take a load.

till now i didnt have a spare tank. then i rehomed the oscars in the 100 and changed it over for my sevs and the hrp.. used the 75 for the africans and voila 30 gal fry tank lol... i know i'll never save em all tho probably lose a lot anyway as i plan to leave em with the parents for at least a week or two before trying to catch em
