20G stocking question

My 20G long currently has 5 rosy barbs and a chinese algae eater. I've always wanted to get a fire eel but not sure if that's a good idea. There are plenty of hiding spots. If not, how about a crab or shrimp of some sort? Any suggestions?

Fire eel gets to big for a 20, maybe something a bamboo shrimp for it though. I would be worried about smaller shrimp because of the CAE!
