These fry were stripped on May 5th.

I noticed last night they are starting to get there egg spots.

They are now just over 1" not including tail. :ssmile:

I had to take them to the fish store I needed the space crispy :scry:

I have my Rift lakes producing so fast now I had to take 60 fry to the LFS to give the rest room to grow.

Yeah I know but at least I get good store credit so may get a new tank out of these. There breeding like guppies So there are some good points also.thumbs2:

Nice, they are looking quite plump. What do you feed, anything special or just ground up adult food?

They are on 4 feeds per day.

1st feed is newlife spectrum growth pellets ( they are made into a powder for the smaller fry )

2nd feed is either daphnia or rotifers

3rd feed is the pellets again

4th feed is baby or adult brine shrimp depending on the size of the fry.

I feed my fry NLS Grow also. I grind it up until they are big enough to eat it whole. Really good stuff. I may try brine shrimp soon.

At Dave66 advice I found rotifer better than BBS to feed as they are smaller. The fry love them when there tiny thumbs2:
