In my 20 gal. tank, I currently have 3 blue rams, and four "dwarf" platies. Everything is going fine, water parameters are great. I am looking for possibly one unique fish to add to complete the aqurium (or maybe a few small fish). I have Flourite substrate, a few plants (doing well), and driftwood and rocks. Water is on the soft side. Any ideas that would not "disturb the peace" and maybe would add some unique quality?

Perhaps some dwarf gouramis or a sparkling gourami. Or cories

Thanks for the input so far. The sparkling gourami and gold nugget pleco ideas definitely are appealing. I thought of cories but am a bit worried about the sharp Flourite sustrate. Would this be a problem for the pleco? Is the 20 gal. large enough for either the sparkling gourami or gn pleco?

How about a african butterly fish? Theyre the brown ones that have little wings and sit at the top of the tank. Mine ate crickets, and never touched any small fish, and was peaceful.
