Hi there,
I've been lurking this forum and website for the past couple of days now and I've learnt so much, so I thought I would introduce myself :)
I am a 18 year old guy from the Netherlands. So why am I on some probably American forum? Honestly I've tried to find a good Dutch forum on tropical fish but the ones I found didn't attract me as much and the people didn't seem too nice (I'm sorry if there are really great dutch forums out there, I simply couldn't find them), so when I found this site I thought well I speak English kindof ok so I could probably get you guys to help me out :)
For a few years I've been wanting to get an aquarium and keep some tropical fish as I'm simply fascinated by them. But somehow I've always thought it to be mind-boggeling hard to keep them alive and happy. My interest was spiked again by accendentally coming across some books on aquariums in the library. After that I started looking around on the internet. My plans are right now to get an aquarium filled with some natural environment (I'm not keen on any plastic stuff) and decoration and fill it with some fish that live near eachother in the wild. I've seen some asian fish specifically that I really liked so maybe I'll go with that.
Pfew this is a long post... I look forward to meeting you all! :22:
