i`am doing a fishless cycle in a 55 gal. tank, when i`am thru cycling will 10 zebra danios be to much to put in at once? will it shock the cycle? thank you

slowly go from 3 or four to a few more the next day and a few more a few days after to not shock the cycle.

If you are doing fishless cycling, and have added ammonia to the recommended 5 ppm, then you can introduce your fish all at once. f1oored tested this once, and it was found that the 5 ppm ammonia load simulates a MUCH higher bioload than a tankful of fish could, so if you only get a few fish, then all the extra bacteria you worked to build up will die off. That's the beauty of fishless cycling.

Well ok, just to be on the safe side, don't fill it to max stocking capacity. But you can still introduce a good 3/4 or so of the fish you want.
