I put this in other predatory fish since we don't have a puffer thread and this guy is definitely predatory!
Tetraodon Suvatti I scored for a measly $15 at All Oddball Aquatics around the Pittsburgh area. He was turned in, reasons unknown, but is happy to eat snails and crayfish.

These guys are commonly called arrowhead puffers as you can see the arrowhead marking on the back of it's head. Hubby has nicknamed him "Chief Porky" since another common name is pignosed puffer and he will definitely be chief of his tank since he will have to be all alone! Hubby was so sweet when he saw him......he offered to buy him and I couldn't for the life of me remember much about the species except that he was freshwater, lurker and after seeing one in person realized that pics don't do this monster justice. Since I had never seen one commonly traded when I went looking for something that I would have to special order I went with the prettier puffers. I was pretty upset about losing Poppy when all seemed to be going so well and I was going to pass on this puffer since I didn't know if I could meet his adult requirements. Hubby's answer was if you need a bigger aquarium we will just have to get one!!!! How can a girl say no to that!!!!
