Hi all,
Would you use substrate in a Quarrantine tank???

No. It is easier to keep a tank clean when there is no substrate. Its good to keep a QT as clean as possible to reduce stress. There might be some instances when it will be an okay idea, for example, if you are QT'ing a fish that digs/buries itself in the sand and feels safe when doing so.

My quarantine tanks don't have substrate. There is a few large decorations so they can hide, but I clean them out everytime a fish leaves the tank.

In my QT I'm going to be setting up I'll be running it BB(bare bottom), with some large pieces of PVC pipe in it for hiding places to reduce stress.
