How common is it to find an ALL black Swordtail? My GF picked up an all black male with clear fins. He is simply stunning. We've named him 'Tux'. I've never seen one like him. Pure black body, bright shining, silver eyes. The very edge of his sword has a very pale green... I'd love to find some black females to breed him to.

PS: Here's the best pic I could get of him...

I had an all black female once. I see them every so often at the LFS.
They are hard to find.
The reason is because the black colouring is a type of cancer but only on the fins. It requires extensive breeding to get a fish all one colour except the fins.
They do look stunning, especially that one, but they are pretty rare and difficult to breed.
How much was it?

$2.99, just like all the rest, heh.

Well, they're not really valuable, as they are still just swordfish but I expected a bit of a price hike. Like to 5 dollars maybe.
