No the point is that daylight savings time in the US has been changed, so they were all worried about computers and whatnot not resetting. My mom's a computer programmer for an insurance company, so the last few days have left her frazzled lol.

Yes, except fewer people running around going "OMGOMGOMGOMG"

Microsoft came out with a patch a few days ago to fix this problem, as have most companies. I still think the whole daylight savings time is a bit ridiculous. What are they going to do? Keep increasing the time during which it is active to save power until all 365 days are like that? lol.

we started doing tht in brazil too before USA when we had a crisis with power
from what I understand its like this

in the summer the sun hits the earth for a longer period of time so the time gets adjusted so we can use more of the SUN light instead of having the lights on our home ON thts why in the summer its like 8pm and we still have sun light.... and before tht we would "WASTE" some sun light while sleeping so now everyone STARTS their days one hour earlyer and end one hour sooner to make better use of the sun light.....
it doenst seem like it helps but one hour a day makes a bigggggg difference in the long run....
tht saved us in brazil from a big black out on the year 2000...

Funny thing is, one of my professors forgot to change his clock over the weekend (he must live a sheltered life) and so didn't even show up to class today...lololol. He sent an email saying that he was an idiot, and that our design project is pushed back a day :hmm3grin2orange:

I did not realise you had daylight saving over there, we have it in most states, and it is a pain in the A#S%

It doesn't stay light outside longer, you just wake up earlier :ezpi_wink1:

its true but it like SIMULATES as if the sun stayed for a longer time... so if u really think about it.. its like having more daylight time and thts the point for the time change...

I personally like it.... makes it feel like u have more time....
