We have this 4 day old kitten now. Abandoned by the mother (from someone we don't know). The black and white cat in the second shot is a kitten to herself, only about 8 months old. The black cat in the left background is Roxy. I have had her for 12 years. She was very sick as a kitten. I used to, literally, walk 2.5 miles round trip from work to home and back at lunch to wipe her nose and give her medicine.

Some lady at work came in today with a kitten that coulndn't have been more than a week old and was trying to give it to kids to get rid of it. Luckily, one of the ladies I work with is in the humane society foster program so she took it in.

Thanks to all for the kind comments. She is doing pretty well so far. A little difficult getting her to poop though. Luckily for us we have a dog that loves babies regardless of the species! She is keeping her close and helping to preen her. Very protective of her. The dog's name is Raspberry. Here are some shots I took just now.

Raspberry was mother to 2 other kittens we hand-reared. We kept them, one of them appears (the black and white cat) in one of the other pictures in this thread.
