Added 5 ml of calcium buffer and hey presto!!!
Ph is from 9.0 to 7.5
Now I just need to get it to 8.3....
Any ideas??

Not to be rude but, you should have put this in your other PH thread. You dont want to make too many threads asking too many questions that are closely related. It plagues the forum.
Add some crushed coral? That raised my PH...

That's what I'm thinking about doing. Have you ever had any problems with it like that?
And so I'm not completely hijacking this thread. Yay for you pH being down. Mine did the same thing went from around 8.8 to 7.4. Mine didn't level out at 8.0 till about a month after my tank was set up.

Ill let you know. I just switched from brackish to salt about a week ago and dont have all my live rock in yet. Plus my API SW liquid test kit is in the mail on its way here so I have NO CLUE what my parameters are! haha. but i still have 3 puffers in there doing great (which i will be removing later) that love all the new rock they have.
