MOD NOTE: please move to correct cichlid board, i am unsure which classification this should go under. thanks

hey guys. i got a great deal today in a like-new 75G glass tank with everything.
i need help identifying the four fish that were included in the sale with the tank.
I will be using the tank for my rainbows/angels, so these fish will be traded for credit at a local store
and I want to know 1) their name 2) average store value at their current size (i get 1/2 retail price as store credit = lots of great plants, etc.)

1. this guy looks to be an African cichlid of some sort, but that's not my area of expertise. I don't keep them, but I can appreciate their beauty and this guy is amazing.
He(?) is 8" from end to end.

2. this other guy looks very rare. the mouth reminds me of a cat or something. very colorful. I would assume also African but can't be sure. About 6.5-7" from end to end.

3. I believe this is a Parrot Cichlid, which I think is South American, but like I said, i'm not sure. This is about 4.5-5" from end to end. Light pinkish-orange color.

4. last fish I don't have a picture for, it is a Raphael Catfish, that is about 3-4" total length, but I'm not sure as he keeps hiding!

thank you for helping me identify these fish. remember to mention approximate value if you know it!

thanks a ton!

1. Can't ID him...he looks awfully familiar though...will keep looking.
2. That appears to be a Labeotropheus fuelleborni. And a male, too.
3. Yes. That is a blood parrot, or a cichlasoma sp.
4. I know what exactly this is. Fun fish.

For the first guy, do not sell him or attempt to sell him until you have successfully ID'd him. The second guy, maybe 40 or 50 dollars, if not substantially more. The last guy, maybe 12 or less. The Raphael catfish, maybe five at most. Cheers man!

The first one is a livingstonii I'm pretty sure, male from the looks of it...

3rd looks like a blood parrot to me, second I agree with Oscarfreak...

First one Deffo a Haplochromis livingstonii. That is a male as he has a blue head.

My LFS would probably sell that at around £60 sterling ($120 )

I will see if I can check out what the second one is but yes it is an African.

# 3 is a parrot fish. No idea what that would sell for as I have never kept or delt with them.

For #3...yes it is a blood parrot, but please don't call it a cichlasoma sp.

It has no sp. name, it's a man made fish.
That livingstonii looks pretty good btw.

Ah, my fault. I was looking at Live aquaria for the name, and that's what came up.:11:
