What a morning. I notice my fantails acting funny, so I watch them tearing through a mass of algae. After every pass, my rosie red minnows go razy, like feeding frenzy, but I cant see anything. I removed the fantails into there own space.
How big are the eggs? can they be that hard to see? They don't seem to like the spawning mop I made, they seem to like the stff on the bottom of the tank.

From what i have heard, your tank will get REALLY cloudy when goldfish spawn.

Ok, no cloud this time. Maybe they are just practicing.

Ok, I added a third calico hoping to make sure I have a female and a male. Now the one I thought was a female is being chased by the other two and is expelling eggs. Two problems...first, the other fish in the tank are eating the eggs as they come out. I am fishing out the eggs I can get. Second, I don't see any sign that the eggs are being fertilized. Any thoughts?
