Donating Organs Could Mean Less Jail Time

COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 9) - Inmates in South Carolina could soon find that a kidney is worth 180 days. Lawmakers are considering legislation that would let prisoners donate organs or bone marrow in exchange for time off their sentences.


Gotta love this barter/free trade world we live in! Who knew it would apply to the body organs of felons?

They were considering offering citizenships to anyone (including illegal immigrants) who signed up for the military and went to Iraq. Goes to show what a screwed up world we live in.

Maybe someday if I become an alcoholic and drink my renal system into oblivion, a nice young man harboring an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon conviction will step forward to offer his organ.


....oh wait...that sounded awful, "offer his organ". Never mind. I should really just delete this post, but I'm gonna run with it and see how long it takes to get deleted.

what kinda world do we live in. speaking of kidneys, when im 75 im gonna drink 2 40's a night and go nuts on alcohol and smoking etc. By then, i'l already be ready to pass away any day so why not? lol

lol yea I've heard about it
I have a friend tht somehow got his greencard(its like a permanent visa) because he joined the marines with an 8 year contract.....

I came to united states legally but somethings went wrong and I was illegal for a while but now I am getting everything straight with the immigration.....
but I wouldnt join the army just to get a citizenship even if I was illegal and had no chance of being legall...

......
and I wouldnt donate an organ for 180 days less on a sentence.....
maybe some years

That is pretty crazy... it makes you think what this world will be like a few years down the road
