Holy cow, I think i'm gonna be a dad!

I was looking at my Frontosas earlier and noticed one acting a bit strange,
and it looked like it had a bad case of mumps, well I figured the reason
for this is she is holding, and not just eggs, I can see black in her mouth.
so i'm figuring fry? And I never even seen them courting.lol

hey Mike! Looks like she's holding alright.... I've been stripping mine because they swallow them around day 15 or so. If they are black, then she's been holding for awhile (front eggs are pinkish) and has fry. The fry should be fairly large and easy to raise.

She actually dropped one last night and sucked it up again
soI know there are fry for sure, I think i'll move her to a

Frontosas don't have that many babies WT, but I have no problem moving them on, they are very sought after in these parts.
