I have often wondered how others view the threads.
When I come on, firstly I go to new posts, then to todays posts in case I missed something, that is why a few weeks ago I kept getting people to try to bump up the comps, cause if they had not been added to, even though stickied, they did not come up whilst browsing the way I do.

I am now in the habit of going to the main forum page just to veiw the comp status.

Oh and then I go have a look at the lottery to see how much hobbs has won that day LOL

First thing I do is check the lottery. I want to know right away if my day will be good or stink! :)

After that, it's click on new posts. And began the search for new messages. :( I wish the searching was not necessary to see if I had any messages personally but one can't have everything.

I only check the comps about twice a week.

I may have a setting wrong, but when I look at new posts or todays post, the stickies never come up, do I have to change a setting, or do others have this same prob?

that sounds like a problem with your settings. what web browser do you use?

hmmmm.. that's strange. when i run with firefox it wouldn't work for me either. ie works like a champ. it's gotta be your settings then.

You maybe aren't notified in comps when you think you should be because no one posts there as much as in the other threads. Or do you have your settings possibly set to "messages from 2 days ago" or something like that and are just missing them?
