Hi! I'm Tails from Cape Town, South Africa thumbs2:
I used to have fish yeeeeears ago when I was about 12yrs old (give or take a year, might have been younger) that consisted of 3 goldfish, Goldy, Ruby and Emerald (yes, can u tell I was young and unimaginative lol :P). Goldy passed away which led to another two additions of Bubble (Black Moore, what else :P) and Squeak. It was a small tank (10l i think), with fake plants, and a No Fishing sign lol.
Now, years later (I'm 23) I'm saving up to get a planted tank with guppies (my friend is working on her own lines) and maybe a pleco or two of some sorts lol. Edit: ok turns out I was thinking of an oto (?) and they're not that common where i am lol so I guess just guppies then :P
Of course I will update everyone when I finally have my tank, though it may be a while.
Meanwhile, I'm going to get used to browsing a fish forum (i'm used to rat forums - no kidding! I own 4 girls, and have subsequently started a South African Rat Club which is going very well. Its co-managed by my aforementioned friend who breeds guppies - the link is in my sig, and on the site is a link to my forums) :) Any links to planted tank pictures would be great. I'm thinking of black gravel, and need some landscaping ideas (will probably be a 30l tank, so not that big)...
