Well, moving into my new house has screwed me over with this, we have to rent a different house because of the move and I can't have pets, even fish tanks...wow...so anyway, with no where to bring these fellas, is anyone here willing to buy them

$15 for the GT about 4 inches
$10 for the Jack Dempsy about 2
and 15 for the Bichir about 6-8

I would prefer not to ship them, don't want anything to happen during shipping

Woops forgot about that. I'm located on Long Island, New York. I remember there was a guy 10 minutes from me, but I forgot his user name, and not sure the size tanks he has. Although, great excuse to get a new tank =P

If they need a tank to, Ill sell everything for 350, but I don't really want to sell the tank and filter and stuff, thats why price is high for the tank.

Where are you located? Is the GT friendly or is he rather aggressive?

Dam, the GT is very friendly, oddly friendly actually. He shares his cave with the bichir and sometimes the JD.

Jackson17,
Algenco shipped me 2 GBR's recently from Kentucky to Illinois...I know it's not as far as NY to AZ...but they made it perfectly fine. I think he shipped them Sat? and they arrived Mon by Priority mail. He used special breather bags? Not sure, you might want to PM him to find out his method of shipping.

How much is priority shipping then? I'd really hate to lose money and have to give them up lol.

I would think the person you sell your fish to would pay for the shipping. For me, it was only $10, but I had 2 small GBR's in 2 bags/1box. I don't know if they charge by weight or not w/ priority.

Sorry to hear about yer dilemma! Hope ya find good home for them!

They do have stuff you can add to the shipping water that helps the fish during shipping....

If you have a local fish store near your they can package the fish for shipping if you're too nervous to do it yourself. That's what I had to do with mine when I was leaving from GA to NV. All my fish made it fine and only my female betta got a very minor case of fungus from the event. My store did it for free and I overnighted them home.... it was a pretty penny for the shipping but that was because i overnighted them in a very large box. For one fish shipping is generally around 10-20 for priority and 30-40 for overnight
