Hi all,

Ive taken the decision to go with a Rverse osmosis system for my water for the marine aquarium.

My suggestion would be to go all the way with a RO/DI unit if you are going this direction at all. RO filters do remove Chlorine and Chloramine, but they also remove more than that. They will get the Total Dissolved Solids way down in your water, however the addition of a good DI canister to a RO unit will bring your water to <1ppm TDS.

None of those models on that site include a DI stage. SI stands for de-Ionized. The de-ionization process removes a lot of the TDS in the water. In fact, you can purchase units that are essentially nothing but a DI filter but they are far more expensive and you cannot keep them under pressure.
