Do I need to occasionally scrub the algae from the aquarium glass? Do you do it?
How do you tell if soft coral is doing well?
Thanks

I only scrape my front glass panel and one side, the back I've let totally encrust with Coralline algae.
Soft corals will melt if they are not doing well. Generally, if they will also go limp and close up as a sign they are not doing well either.

Well I must be doing something right because mine are open and happy! :19:
Does coralline algae feel a little rough like a 400-600 grit sand paper?

Not sure about that, I don't make a habit of feeling my Coralline. LOL It is generally various shades or purple or green, and is hard and encrusting.
