just got two rats last week one male that is very large and a female that is about six mos old the male bullies on the female every now and then whats the problem help

Well they are probably breeding/going to breed. Separate them immediately unless you want a lot of babies. You should never keep males and females together unless you are attempting to breed them

Why on earth did you get a male and a female???? You know that they breed constantly right??? Yeah she is either in heat or getting ready to be in heat. Unless you have them in a small cage, then it could be territory.

Oh well then they are getting ready to breed soon, but you really might want to consider another cage for the female after she has babies to ensure that the male does not kill them since you need them all to survive. What is your boa eating now??? Pinkies, hoppers????
