Guess what? Went out and bought Prime today and did a w/c - crystal clear! Ho-o-oly! I'm used to having the cloudiness for a day and now I can go ahead and ante up my water chanegs to like 30-40% :)

Are you kidding me? Ammonia in my tap water constrained me to 20% w/c max and 1 day out of 7 of cloudy water. I'm pretty glad to get out of it :)

? My water is never cloudy after a WC lol. But congrats =D

hmmmmm, I live in Toronto same as you NanoTankGuy, but my water doesn't have any ammonia in it, thank god. I don't experience any cloudiness after a water change either. I use stress coat+ during a water change.

Stress coat+ also converts ammonia to ammonium

What part of Toronto are you in? I'm in Woodbridge. And I tested my tap water as suggested by WildTurkey (if I'm not mistaken) and it had ammonia.
