hey all oscar lovers

i am only new ere and lookin for advice on breeding oscars from someone wit good knowledge on this topic.... i have a breeding pair that have layed 6 or more times ,once the eggs hatched and had fry swimming and then the mum ate them.. all other times the mum eats the eggs off the slate ...i could take the eggs out but tryin hard not to do that.... my fish lay prob every two weeks!!! they r breeding machines... prob only 15 months old and in a 500 litre tank and no other fish in there.. so if anyone has knowledge on wat to do pls let me no..ty

Are the oscars cichlids (http://www.e-aquarium.com.au/oscar_cichlids.htm) being disturbed in any way? Look for something in their environment that they may be perceiving as a threat to the eggs. As they grow older they may become more parent like if it is not the environment.
