My damn angelfish, who has never picked on any other fish before (including the 3 cardinals I have in the tank now), is really going after the new cardinal tetras I got, even though they are the exact same size, as well as the new oto cat. What's up with this? zzzz

My wit reservoir is empty for the day, as there was a rather attractive female visitor at work today, so I was drawing from the backup reserves, which are, as can be seen, of inferior quality. I'll try to save some next time, in case any unscrupulous fellows should attack me online :)

Well, ahem, getting back on topic. My angelfish has returned to his normal nonchalant self and the cardinals are doing great now, though they still only semi-school, which was a bit disappointing. Perhaps in time..... It seems the oto may have been freaked out by the angelfish's curiosity last night, as it still stays pretty much still unless touched, when he/she will go into fits and bounce up and down off the gravel. Just how bad do oto's need to be in groups? I would have taken my own advice were it not for the LFS having only 1 left and my tank being somewhat overstocked as it is.

I think he was just bored actually. Although he did try to take a nip at the cardinals, it seemed more like a curiosity poke rather than a hungry lunge now that I think about it. I feel bad for the oto though, no friends for him for a while :/
