Getting ready to set up a 10 gallon tank and have an idea for a layout that'll have a wall crossing the tank somewhat diagonally. What I require is angular slabs of stone, roughly rectangular in shape, that'll stand on edge next to each other or overlapping each other to form the wall. So I need a few 3X5X.5 inch (approximately, a little bigger/smaller or varying would be fine as well) pieces of some stone that's aquarium safe... slate, granite, or something similar.
Any ideas? Where can I find such things? Online/offline, whatever.

Quarries can have things like that. And garden centers.

Went out today and found what I needed at a LFS in the town south of here. It was $2.29 a pound and I got like $7-$8 worth. THEN I found the same stuff at another store for less... heh.
But now I'm set so thanks everyone for reading.

In the future check out new construction sites. At least in our area when they build they dig up a huge amount of rock and its all just laying there. And you are doing them a favor since they have to screen it before they can sell it as fill. And if its not the size you need, a chisel and hammer will fix that. Also, try gardening/landscaping centers. They'll likely have the same rock as the LFS for a fraction of the cost.
