a question for a 120 Gallon tank filter. Can any of these options work? also I plan to have fillterization for 20 gallons more then my tank. So I am going to have a filter for 140 Gallons.

110 Gallon Filter + a 30 gallon filter to = 140 Gallons

70 Gallon filter + 70 Gallon filter

140 Gallon filter

I know many people have more Filterization then the tank is rated for. I want to use a Aqua Clear Filter or Filters, but they only go up to 110 Gallons so can I use 1 rated at 110 Gallons and 1 rated at 30 gallons or 2 rated at 70 Gallons?

For a tank that size, I would highly recommend a canister filter instead. The AC 110 may be rated for 110 gallons, but it's still a HOB power filter, and so will never be as good as a canister filter rated for that size. I've heard good things about the Rena XP series

Chrona is right. Filters never filter out what they say. It says will filter "up to 110" gallons which could also mean it works fine for a 60 gallon. If you are determined to use Aqua Clears, get 2 rated to 110. But as Chrona says, a canister is really needed for a tank of that size.
