Hey everyone, I was recommended to get a couple ghost shrimp for my community tank. I'm just curious what exactly these little guys do? I've never had any so I was just wondering.

They eat little bitty pieces of food in the gravel.

they also eat algae off the plants, and its fun to watch them swim around! watch out tho, if you have real plants...if they dont have enough to eat, they'll start eating little holes in the leaves of the softer plants.

great little creatures that eat most of the leftovers (if any) from the fish, also algea. shrimp pellets/algea wafers are alternate foods. if fish wont eat them, they are fantastic animals to have in a tank.

its cool watching em eat. They dig their claws all around and stuff bits of food and eat it.

YAY! my stocking suggestion!
can't go wrong with those suggestions. a little taste of everything available. the danios are mid-level fish right? and do all the fish eat flake food. i'm currently feeding Ocean Nutrition Community Formula - Freshwater Formula Series.
an what would you recommend the order of getting the fish should be?
