Can Blood Jewels be Mouth Brooders?

My female blood jewel swallowed the majority of her eggs about three days after she laid them. Is there a chance she is keeping hold of them or did she eat them, I would like to know because I have the jewel par separated from the rest of my fish and I would like to put them all together again if their is no chance that they will have fries.

More than likely she ate them, and if you have a M&F of them they will try again.
Jewels would breed in a puddle of mud
