Good deal?

I was just wondering if this sounded like a good deal for someone interested in starting out for the first time in saltwater.

It is kind of a weird post. The air pump, HOB filter, and canister filter are pretty much unnecessary items for SW.

So what you are really looking at is a tank, stand, overflow, skimmer, and sump for $200. That is a pretty good deal, assuming the equipment is solid. I would find out what kind of skimmer and overflow box it has. If you can, also find out if it comes with a return pump.

Thanks, Coach. I thought that sounded a little strange. If the tank and equipment is in good shape, I could always use the other filters for my FW tanks, or just keep them as spares. I'm going to contact the guy and ask a few questions about the stuff. If anyone can think of any other questions I should ask the seller, please post them.

You could always try to sell the unnecessary SW equipment or just it for your FW tanks if you need it.

But like coach said make sure it's stuff you want so you don't have to spend a bunch replacing equipment you don't want.
