A couple years ago I took a bunch of microscopy photos of developing angelfish fry. Before I got the photos online I had a computer failure and thought I lost the data. As it turns out I just found all the photos recently on one of our backup machines and put together a website for the project. There are a bunch of high resolution pics and videos.

his was really cool to see, I really enjoyed getting a close up look at the fry. This is a great project and maybe sometime in the future you could continue it.

Being in the science field I can say absolutely amazing.
Now you know why a lot of scientists study zebra danios, except they dont let the fry grow up normally. They delete genes and "see what happens" much in the same way you're watching the fry.
And just as a suggestion, since the pics are amazing, is to watermark them.

Thanks for the compliments.
The project was great to work on. At the moment however, I am no longer actively breeding, and I'm also in the process of finishing my graduate work so I wouldn't have a lot of extra time for that kind of thing anyway. After I get settled in my new position in Boston I might make another attempt to work with fry more. Although I will probably try another species, perhaps neon tetras, or corys.
As for the photos. I was thinking about water marking them but honestly I don't mind if people want to use them so long as I get mentioned. A friend of mine who does copyright stuff thinks that I should water mark them as well though.

WOW! I am totally impressed. Now, if my angels will spawn, I'll understand (a little) of what I can observe

This is just awesome and I'm so glad you found it. That would have been awful to have lost all the work and time and wonderful photos.
I just love those half blacks!!!
