Well, I've decided I need some snails in my 20g, to keep my tank clean. I'm thinking I want some larger snails, and I want a two or three of them. I also want a species that's hardy. Any suggestions on what I should get?

Thanks,
Tigerbarb

Zebra Nerites? They wont overrun your tank either :P

I would go with astreas. If you want something really big, you can go with turbos...but they can get massive.

I agree. The only thing about turbos is they don't live very long. I've had them for a 2-3 months at most.

I believe the 20g you are talking about is a fish only tank. If it is, I would recommend some Crown Conch (melongena corona).

They get nice and big, will keep your sand looking like a million bucks and are very easy keepers.

Be warned though, they will eat other snails.
