Pictus catfish

So I just set up my 29g tank and I was thinking of getting 3 pictus catfish. Will they be compatible with juli corys and platys?

If you are going to get Pictus cats for a 29g tank, then you need to be very careful what you get, and you need to know for sure what you are getting. There is a size difference between Peruvian and Colombian caught Pictus cats. The Peruvian caught fish are smaller (about 5") and will be fine in a 29, but Colombian caught get 8" and are not suitable for a 29gal.

I agree, and make sure you don't have to small of fish with them, as in they may become lunch or dinner..

Hmm well that rules out the pictus cats, the LFS only carries the columbian variety. Thanks for the info, I bumped up my cory school to 6 instead.
