I want to start a 10 Gallon Chichlid tank. I want no filter or heater. I only want tank, hood, light and maybe Gravel or some decorations. I will do water changes once to twice a week. What kinds of Chichlids can I get if any?

Sorry. But I would say none.

I would have to say nothing less than a 30 gallon and those would have to be for small cichlids.

I think most all Cichlids need a heater and filter of some degree, and even the smallest cichlids wont comfortably fit in a 10 gallon.

I would agree 10 gallons is way to small for any chiclids

unless your wanting a goldfish, you need a heater, even if you do want a goldfish, 10 gallons inst big enough. if/when you do get a heater and filter, i doubt any cichlid would fit.
they are plent of fish that can live in a 10gallon.

I want to do a very simple 10 gallon tank and do not want to spend much money. So are my options limited to Feeder Goldfish or Ghost Shrimp?

Have you thought about maybe keeping a couple Fiddler crabs (cheap!)? Or maybe a hermit crab or newt?

I thought Shrimp are coldwater?

not all shrimps are coldwater, i belive most shrimps are tropical, they may survive in cooler waters, but its like the betta issue, just because it can survive in coldwater, doesnt mean it should have to.personally, the colorful and exciting shrimps are tropical, ghost, cherry, amano, bumblebee.just to name a few

...white cloud mountain minnows are the only fish I can think of that you can keep reasonably well...

I started the topic asking about fish and mainly about fish.

nothing in a 10g for cichlids is good. Mine are all small so its working out until they get a 55g. Cichlids live in big rocky open lakes, and a 10g is like me living in a closet all my life.

Cherry fire shrimp and amano shrimp can live in water from 60-80, and ghost shrimp in water from 68 to 85.
