Hey guys I got 4 guppies in my tank and sometimes they swim up the wall and down constantly its not an everyday thing but maybe ever other 3 days? I dont know why they do that, all water paremeters are right in their places and everything eles, except for the pH witch is still going up and down like a roller coster! Btw w:help: ill crib sea crushed coral be okay for fresh water?

Yes on the coral.

It is not unusual for fish to do that. I dont know if they are playing or looking for a way out.

Mine do that quite often. Not sure why. They seem to be playing. :19:

All my fish do that too lava! I wouldn't worry at all (unless it becomes a compulsion, if they never stop doing it you may need to break the habit by distracting them with food etc.) could also be scraping the very fine algae etc. off the glass or something to do with seeing their reflection.

Ohh ic......Also I noticed that sometimes when I dont feed them enough (witch is very rare) they usually start nibbling on algae and the white stuff growing on suction cups. Are guppies know for eatting algae or something? Im sorry for asking so much about the guppies in this section It should be in the livebearers?

Guppies will nibble at algae, especially hair algae.

That's normal! they like vegetable matter as well (being omnivores) and will pick at the algae etc. Many fish will do this. Mollies and platies (in particular) are relatively good for algae control.
