View Full Version : Best Loach find ever!!!

I have spent years now searching for a spot loach. I didn't care how big he was, I just have always been looking for one and the only oddballs I have come across are little saddlebacks. well, tonight I went into a small nearby lfs and found a tank of monster loaches. In the group of 3, there was one spot loach! I had to have him, so when I asked the lady how much he was she said there were 4 tanks of loaches and showed me the other tanks! Apparently, some other lady had all of them and they ended up being such hogs that she couldn't keep other fish with them because they would eat all the food so she gave them to the fish store! I searched through all 4 tanks and there was one oddball in each tank! So I brought home 4 oddballs, all for $20 each! The biggest guy is around 6.5" and the smallest is 4.5". Here are the pics!

What a steal! Loaches like that would sell for $100+ around here =O
