Amazon sword needs some love

So, my new sword seems to need a little tlc. Some of the veins on the newer leaves are turning brown. I just put a root tab under the plant, because the silica sand obviously isn't providing enough nutrients. Is this enough to remedy things?

Wait a few days and see if it improves. Swords are heavy root feeders so it should help.

The veins on the new leaves of my swords were always brown. I thought my plant was about to kick the bucket when I first saw it since the leaves were so brown. But the plant kept producing more leaves and the veins turned green after about a week. A root tab is a good idea anyways since swords are heavy root feeders.
