High-end brackish I'd say. Somewhere above 1.010 and below 1.020.

Are you on about a Blue / Violat dragon Goby ?

If so I would be very careful.

Make sure you see the LFS feed them in front of you so you know that they are feeding ok.

If they don't feed then I wouldn't bother.

Just my experience with them. :ssmile:

Most people keep their brackish tanks around 1.012 + or - .002

I always kept mine at 1.012 with fluctuations from 1.010 to 1.014 with no problems at all for the years I had it.

If he hasn't ever been in a brackish setup before and you're going from full freshwater make sure to slowly acclimate him to the salt. Raising the SG each day by .001 with a drip acclimation method. Basically mix your saltwater in a bucket with a powerhead and some air to make sure everything mixes properly. After the saltwater is mixed just elivate the bucket above the tank and run a small piece of air tube from the bucket to the tank until the water is completely syphoned out of the bucket. Do this every day until you reach the desired SG level!

Good luck with the brackish tank, definately some very interesting species to keep! thumbs2:
