So i finally figured out whats been bothering those tiger barbs, velvet
Glad i decided to Q them in a bare tank now for sure, but i have some questions.
Im treating them and blacking out the tank etc etc

How long without fish in a tank until the velvet dies?

Doesnt effect inverts right?

I need to make sure because im worried my 20long may be effected also, and i had planned on moving the fish out and inverts in, so is it okay to move these fish into a Q tank and inverts in? The inverts wont carry the disease over to a new tank or anything, it should just die off without fish, right?

Okay to Q these fish next and treat them just in case? bad idea?

I think all the meds for velvet have copper in them.
Not good for fish or inverts!

Yea, I wasnt planning on treating any inverts since I really dont think they can get this... but

I really need a confirm on that, and how many days it takes for it to starve without a host

The med im using to treat right now Is Rid Ich+ which is supposed to work, and seems to be. (Malchite green)
