I decided to pull out my Nikon D40x and take a few shots of my blue crayfish, as it's the most interesting creature I have. Here's a couple from the sets I took.

Stunning shade of blue!:19:
Nice pic!:22: lol Great name too!
Thank you. I took the photo last night and since he has molted, so now the guy has a little red on him(There's a nudity/embarrassment joke in there.) which gives him a bit of a purplish coloring, still just as beautiful. I'm assuming he'll go back to the bright blue once his shell hardens again.
Here's one picture I took shining a bit more light on him from behind the camera. It's a bit blurry because of the shutter speed and my shaky hands, but it's a great example of just how blue he was.

What a stunning critter.
Great pics. :ssmile:
Well thanks guys, your comments mean a lot. I would love to take some more pictures but I think I'm going to wait until the tank develops more as well as the cray.

Awe he is a cutie!!!
I used to have a few crawfish. They're really cool to watch eat! At one point a pretty blue one appeared out of no where! I don't know if he was living under the underground filter or what!
Those sure are pretty pictures of yours, thanks for posting them, they brought back memories!
