THIS (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100018033&N=10000003+503081+90401&marketID=90401&locStoreNum=8125)

With the demensions listed it should be close to 900 gallons?

with a liner size of 12x17 assuming a good depth of 2ft and an oval shape that would make a 5by10ft pond with steep sides going directly to 2 ft deep.I figure 1.5 ft overlap the whole way around the edge to allow for mistakes and rocking in the edges to hold the liner in place and allow for a more natural appearance.Given these dimensions the pond would be about 750 gal.

750 still a good size for the price lol

I would be concerned about the pump and filter quality and serviceability. If it does come out to 750 gal the 535 perhour pump is less then a 3rd of what is needed. The filter is very likely undersized as well.Good quality kits with all the stuff that is neccesary will run you about a grand.Unfortunatly this is certainly a case of getting what you pay for.It also says nothing about what thickness the liner is.45 mil is considered the only way to go.

Looks great for the price but I agree with Smaug. From what I've read that system might last a short while but in the long run you'll end up with a lot of dead fish and a smelly/gross pond.
