I'm considering a change of plan for my 272 litre 'L' shaped tank. I have decided against the idea of having a pair as I'm not sure if i can properly deal with the fry at the moment. Do you think two males of different species (either; Cichlasoma carpinte (texas), Aequidens rivulatus (green terror), Nandopsis octofasciatum (jack dempsey) or Nandopsis tetracanthus (cuban)) would work long term? Also possibly with a third smaller male like a firemouth or something to take some of the agro!? Also should i add any dither fish or scavengers?
Thank you very much for any advice you may be able to give?
Liam.
