I have a holding female who is getting bullied by the other females in the main tank.
I was wondering if it would be ok & safe to put her in with my other fry till she spits ?

I have so many fry at the moment and having just split 2 of my Victorian male haps up I am short of space till I can set up another tank over the weekend.

Thanks :ssmile:

I guess you don't have a divider screen.
She may have a feast on her fry or the others in the tank.
I have never had them,sorry.

I don't know either...sorry. I've moved a holding female into a Qtank. How about a large WALMART storage container, with heater and filter. It will just be temporary...:ssmile:

IDK about this one, I am torn on what to do. The only thing I would be afriad of is, if your not home when she spits the babies, and she eats the rest of the fry..

Red.

I have the exact date she was bred. She still has 2 weeks to go.

I may strip her out at around 3 weeks any way. :ssmile:

Thanks for the replys so far. :ssmile:

I would just keep an eye on her, until you strip her or you can get the other tank setup!

You can strip her now and put the eggs in an egg tumbler. You dont want to risk your other fry being gobbled up by putting a holding female in with them.

I set up a spare 12 gallon today and put her in there. I put her in a large breeder net in the main tank over night.

So thanks for all your help guys. thumbs2:
