They are Chinese fire belly newts they are very fun pets to have. The bad thing about thes guys is that you need to wash your hands after handling these guys. Onee I was handing them and had an itch on my eye lid scratched it and it burned like the dickens.

Sorry but Ihave to ask this.

Who are the Dickens? And why are they always getting into trouble? I mean the either running or burning or stinging or any other negative or painful adjective you can think of. Are they just really unlucky or did everybody hate them so much as to deliberatly go after them?

They are cute!! Is it just the two in the tank?

*You should always wash your hands after handling any reptile due to Salmonella! Almost all captive snakes, turtles, lizards etc......... carry salmonella.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

Any full tank shots?

Any filtration?

What is the water change schedule?

The guppies shouldn't be dying, something is probably wrong. Are these just feeder guppies? How long do they last?

The tank is 72x12 water changes are carried out every week as with all my other tanks water temp is 70 degrees and I have two filters fit for 30 gal tanks . give me a moment I will get some shots

If you have only tried feeder guppies then you may just be getting unhealthy fish. Feeder fish can come in to a shop in horrible condition. It may be worth it to try some other coolwater species like zebra danios, fancy guppies, least killifish, and some others.

Oh god, when my friend first saw the word "herp" on a sign He had no Idea what it meant and began using it as a pseudo swear word because it sounded so ridiculous.
