I am a pure and utter snail assasin ... I admit it... I don't even want to know how many I have squashed...crushed...caught and removed from my tanks over the many years <oooh the guilt :11: >

Until tonight when I came across this little guy minding his own little business

How cute is he? :1luvu: Lovely little Ramshorn with beautiful markings....

Maybe I am just getting soft in my older age :hmm3grin2orange:

Now he better not make me regret saving his little shell by thanking me with a hundred more...I will be keeping a close eye on him LOL

That's a good looking snail. Great markings. I usually leave my ramshorns alone. They don't really hurt the plants much that I can see.

I also want to say that I LOVE your substrate!

It's a real shame people don't like snails, since they are such efficient cleaners. Lovely little Ramshorn, Fishalicious :)

He's a great snail! I like having snails in my tank, never worry about the little bits of food that the fish might miss. They also add a little variety to the tank. I kinda miss all of sounguru's invert pics, so it's nice to see a pic of a snail now an then.
