For my betta in a 2.5g with a incandescent light, driftwood, and java moss. I need more plants, and my lfs has a sale on microsorium pteropus and rotala indica. are they hardy?

How many watts is the incandescent bulb?

Microsorium pteropus = Java fern btw, so yes, it is very hardy :)

Rotala - I'm fairly certain this plant needs a decent bit of light, which an incandescent bulb of that size can't provide.

Don't bury it in the substrate or it will rot. It feeds through the leaves. The roots are just there for anchoring, so tie it to a rock or some driftwood.
