Yes they are. Even a felony in 6 states that I know of. Thanks to the morons that pitched them in rivers when they were tired of them.

Watch one on youtube :ssmile: but don't get one. Fishermen are instructed to destroy a caught snakehead and contact fish and game. They come right out and shock the lake, as well as the surrounding ones.

I think they are getting banned in Canada too! cer they are not fun fish to have when they get big.Nothing but trouble!

No tropical fish will ever be banned in Canada because they can't survive our winters... there is no cause for alarm when it comes to tropical fish... all our invasive species come from cold-water overseas...
...many types of snakeheads are easily available here...
