A picture of a lizard I took in the garden today. I got loads of them but this one is much larger then the rest. almost 10 inches / 25 cm. Most of this species show more green.

Oh, yep, got those guys in AZ too. These guys grow big! I saw one that was at least two feet no exaggeration once!

Oh I think they are really cool looking and all, but they get into buildings and freak people out, and they come in mass numbers. They are so fast, you cant hardly catch them to put them back outside! I do not dig wild animals crawling all over my kitchen, not to mention that they build their nests in the walls and stuff.

One good thing about them, they eat insects that could otherwise become an even greater annoyance.

Yeah they do eat the insects!! Wish they could eat all the mosquitos!! LOL

Some people say that their tails are toxic, and blame them for the deaths of their cats and such. I do not think they are at all. There does not appear to be any proof of that. Only freak accidents.

It is really funny at my daughters elementary school, when one of them goes running across the classroom all the kids scream and jump up on their chairs. LOL

For me they would be fine if they stayed outside. I have never had an issue with this sort of stuff until I started school.I played with them when I was a kid. Now that I know about all the bacteria and stuff that are around I get freaked out really quick! I see a skink on my counter and I think Salmonella. I know its not as bad as I think, lol, but yeah I bust out the clorox wipes anyhow!

Just call me chicken! Ha Ha Ha
