Gymnothorax Funebris, Green Moray. Apparrently this is the big boy that was sent to fill my Snowflake order. Ive been doing research, calling aquariums, and reading online to try and find a little info on care for this Atlantic eel. There's very little available on aquarium care, and raising of these morays. Has anyone ever kept one of these? Ever known anyone? I hate to return him as the second ship will probably kill him. I have a 190g, a 200g and a 275g but all are reef tanks and thats not what hes really suited for. Im open to any suggestions. Ive had morays for over 25 years and this is the first time Ive ever had such a HUGE mis-identification by a supplier. Indo-May Marine Fish, DO NOT USE THEM! They recommended I send him back since they have no idea where they caught him and no info as to what species he is... or flush him! Great company huh? Well Like I said any suggestions would be great. I have him sequestered by himself and am in the process of changing a 75g tank to a south atlantic environment(water condition) til I can get him a good 500g home set up. Thank you.

Wow. Well I have no clue how to take care of them. Its really cool though that you are not just going to "get rid of it". I looked and did not find much info either, but here is what I did find just in case.

It appears that he can be pretty nasty at feeding time so be careful!
